MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF SUPERVISORY OR EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERATION EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated  Production Lead/Forklift Operator to join a growing plastic manufacturing company in  Conroe, TX !

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

Available for flexible working hours and overtime if needed.

Requirements:

• Must have 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous extrusion experience preferred, especially with plastic sheet
• High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate preferred
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems preferred
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Strong analytical skills for gathering and interpreting information
• Knowledge of:
• Raw materials, production processes, and quality control
• Cost-efficient manufacturing methods
• Distribution logistics and product handling
• Basic office administration knowledge and ability to use standard office equipment
• High attention to detail in documentation, task execution, and meeting deadlines
• Physical ability to:
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
• Work in extreme heat or cold environments
• Ability to work independently and within a diverse, team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in roles such as Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Lead, Operations Lead, or Production Coordinator is a big plus!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production Operators and Material Handlers on the assigned team
• Learn and operate PET sheet line including:
• Raw material addition, mixing, and blending
• Extruder machine operation
• Sheet production and roll station processes
• Operate powered forklifts and lifting equipment
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production machinery
• Maintain high standards of quality in finished goods
• Train and guide newer operators
• Communicate clearly with Supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates
