Store Manager

We are looking for a results driven retail Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in financial planning, employee recruitment, or retail management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead sales effort in the store by creating a five-star customer service experience.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Merchandise displays effectively. 
• Stays current with market and roller skating trends communicating as needed to appropriate parties to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Displays product knowledge.
• Understand and execute initiatives that affect all aspects of the store including sales statistics, inventory and expenses that together produce profit.
• Collaborates with managers as needed to drive business by establishing and implementing policies, goals and procedures.
• Works with the Marketing team to create in-store events and promotions.
• Leads staff to ensure accountability for all responsibilities and standards in each department are completed.
• Attract, recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate the performance of Fritzy's employees.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving, ordering and stocking merchandise.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and safe shop environment.
• Alerts management of potential issues.
• Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• BS degree or 2 years relevant experience

Work Environment

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with standing and/or walking for prolonged periods of time. This role routinely uses standard retail equipment including box cutters, computers, and iPads.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit or climb.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and rarely lift items that weigh between 21-50 pounds.
